Driver killed crossing the A5 is named

A man who survived a car crash, but died moments later crossing a dual carriageway has been named.

Barry Stephen Keen was killed as he walked across the A5 on Friday.

The 30-year-old driver had just got out of his blue Volkswagen Polo after it overturned on the Caldecotte roundabout.

He was taken to John Radcliffe Hospital, but later died of his injuries.

An inquest into Mr Keen’s death was opened and adjourned yesterday morning.

A full inquest into his death will be held next year.
