THAMES Valley Police has released an E-fit image of a man they would like to speak to in connection with a sexual assault in Heelands last month. At about 1pm on Sunday June 26, the 16-year-old victim was walking along the Redway by Station Drive, when a man rode past her on a bike. The man stopped his bike and approached her, asking her for a kiss. The victim said no and the man then put his hands down her top and into her bra, touching her inappropriately.

The offender then rode off in the direction of the nearby shops.

The man is Asian, in his early twenties, around 5ft 4ins, and average build. He had short black hair, bushy eyebrows, and a bent nose, as if it had been broken. He was wearing a blue T-shirt with white on the front, and dark jogging bottoms with a white line up both legs.

This is a separate incident to one reported yesterday (Thursday) when a 17-year-old was attacked near the National Bowl.

Anyone who recognises the E-fit of the offender should contact PC Punter via the 24-hour Police Enquiry Centre on 0845 8 505 505. If you don’t want to speak to the police or leave your name, call the charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
