AN e-fit has been released by police after a 15-year-old boy had his mobile phone stolen on Wednesday, April 20.
The incident occurred in the area of Vache Lane, Shenley Church End when the victim was walking with his girlfriend at 4.30pm.
The victim was approached from the side and was punched several times causing a cut and bruising to his lip, but did not need any hospital treatment.
During the attack, the teenager’s iPhone 4 was stolen.
The offender is described as mixed race, approximately 6ft with a skinny build, short dark hair and a thin face. He was wearing a grey baseball cap with a grey hooded top and three quarter length shorts which may have been chequered.
The offender was in the company of a white woman who was approximately 5ft 4ins, large build, dyed red hair with black roots. She was wearing very short denim shorts.
PC Caroline Vendy, leading the investigation, said: “I am appealing for witnesses or anyone who can help to identify the offender from the e-fit to call police immediately.”
