Around 150 people from various churches in Newport Pagnell lined the town’s High Street for a traditional Easter parade.

Organised by Churches Together the parade followed Jesus as he carried the cross, flanked by Pontius Pilate, down towards Market Hill where a short open air service was held.

Members of the public were also involved with the procession that involved representatives from the Parish Church of St Peter and St Paul’s, The Baptist Church, United Reformed Church, St Luke’s Church, The Methodist Church and St Bede’s Catholic Church.
