Returning youngsters at Sherington CE School are still talking about the end-of-term camp-out they enjoyed before their summer holiday.
Pupils made the most of the chance to relax and unwind after working hard, and after the long summer break they are now eager to embrace the autumn term.
So far, the students have shared their exciting holiday trips with their classmates and teachers after recording their adventures in summer diaries.
So the pupils are refreshed and the school building itself has been given a lift, thanks to a thorough re-painting inside, and also the installation of an outdoor canopy for early years foundation stage pupils which means the school is very well prepared for the busy months ahead.
The school’s very youngest new-starters are being eased into their school experience. They are particularly enjoying ‘listening walks’ – sparking a keen interest in observing and engaging with their natural environment.
