A rousing performance is guaranteed with songs like ‘I Dreamed a Dream’, ‘Bring Him Home’ and ‘Empty Chairs and Empty Tables’ and talented students at Denbigh School did not disappoint with their version of ‘Les Miserables’.
A cast of over 50 performing arts pupils proudly presented the school edition of the world-famous musical, telling the story of Jean Valjean’s quest for redemption and Inspector Javert’s dogged pursuit of him through the years.
The school sports hall was transformed to accommodate the stage.
Jeannette Astley-Jones, performing arts faculty head, said: “The cast have worked extremely hard to provide an emotional production and have dedicated a vast amount of time into perfecting their scenes. They are all stars and we are very proud of their achievements.”
