A popular maths and English tuition firm has opened a second centre in Milton Keynes.
Explore Learning has opened up in Kingston Library, and will bring 20 new jobs.
Councillor Derek Eastman, Mayor of Milton Keynes, officially opened the new site.
Lisa Hayward, Milton Keynes Kingston Centre director, said: “We’re very excited to open up our latest centre, Explore’s existing centre has been an instant hit with children and parents.
“There’s a real passion for education and a huge demand for extra tuition in this area. We are looking forward to building on the reputation and success that has already been established by our colleagues.”
From March next year the centre will also be offering parents the option of lessons in creative maths (problem solving for all abilities), creative writing and succeed in secondary - a course designed to help children prepare for secondary school. They will begin an 11+ course in September, perfect for all those preparing for the exam.
