The Open University is one of the best places to study in the country, according to a poll of students.
According to the National Student Survey (NSS), the OU has a 91 per cent rating for overall student satisfaction, the seventh best score out of 156 universities.
This means the OU is one of only four UK universities to have consistently achieved more than 90 per cent in the survey’s history.
University director Keith Zimmerman said: “Once again it is great to see our students rate us so highly.
“As the UK’s largest university, the student experience lies at the heart of everything the OU stands for, so it is very rewarding to see that reflected in these results.
“When you consider the OU has more than 200,000 students, maintaining a rating of more than 90 per cent each year is something of which we can be particularly proud.”
The Open University is based at Walton Hall, but with regional centres across the UK as well as offices and regional examination centres in most other European countries.
