Youngsters at Kiddi Caru Nursery were in a hunting mood, when they celebrated the 25th anniversary of the classic children’s book We’re Going On A Bear Hunt.
The nursery, in Walnut Tree, put on activities including a teddy bears’ picnic where each child brought their favourite stuffed bear.
Children also took part in reading, and acting out the bear hunt, and all donated £1 to raise funds for the RNIB charity.
Senior nursery manager Louise Higgins said: “We’re Going On A Bear Hunt is one of the seminal books for children. It is absolutely adored by children of all ages and by parents and carers too.
“The RNIB has been working with the publishers to help raise awareness of the challenges faced by visually-impaired children, and we are pleased to be able to help.”
