AN Indian restaurant in Stony Stratford has gone to extraordinary lengths to show support for the Royal Wedding, by putting the happy couples’ faces on specially commissioned naan breads.
Calcutta Brasserie is holding a special celebration evening on Friday for guests looking to mark the royal wedding in a memorable way.
Each guest will be treated to a champagne reception and the chance to sample the restaurant’s new wedding set menu’s; plus they will receive a naan with the couple’s face on it.
Restaurant manager Mo, who celebrates his two year anniversary on 29th April will be decorating the 17th century chapel with traditional bunting and balloons.
He said: “This is a wonderful British celebration that has captured the nation’s interest.
“It is wonderful for us to embrace and celebrate another culture and we have gone to every effort to make this happen as best we can.”
