A young boy had to be freed by firefighters after his leg got caught between two tree trunks.

On Monday morning, at Green Park Primary School in Newport Pagnell, the boy became wedged between the trees after kneeling down.

Firefighters were called after head teacher Mrs Claire Worrall decided it would be the better and safer option as the boy was getting distressed.

“He is absolutely fine now,” she said.
