FLOOD warnings have been issued for Olney and Simpson.

The Environment Agency issued the warning for properties in Bridge Street, Church Street, Clay Pit Lane, Wagstaff Way and Pebody Place in Olney yesterday.

A similar warning had been issued for properties on the River Ouzel between Simpson and Woolstone, including Monkston Park on Tuesday.

Water levels are continuing to rise slowly between Milton Keynes and Newport Pagnell, although they are unlikely to cause any further problems.

A flood alert has also been placed on the River Great Ouse from Newport Pagnell to Turvey. People with concerns can call Floodline on 0845 988 1188, select option 1 and enter Quickdial number 0324132.

The move comes at the same time Anglian Water lifted the hosepipe ban that has been in place in the region since April.
