Flooding causes chaos for Milton Keynes motorists
Heavy rain this afternoon has caused havoc on roads all over Milton Keynes - with one car stuck up to window level in water.
Dog walker Colin Harvey spotted this unlucky Mercedes stranded in Fairfax on Stantonbury, just off Saxon Street.
“The water was coming over the car’s windows. I’ve never seen anything like it,” he said.
Other cars have been abandoned in flood water near Stacey Bushes, where the road runs under a railway bridge.
Motorists are urged to take care and not attempt to drive through flooded areas.
