A nine-year-girl and her footballer uncle teamed up to raise £550 with a charity bike ride over the school holiday.
Kimberley Biley, from Newport Pagnell, and former Everton star Alan Bikey, took on the charity challenge along the Grand Union Canal between her home town and Leighton Buzzard.
And because of the condition of some of the tow path the duo also rode around Willen Lake, covering 19 miles in total.
Kimberley said: “We rode for the BDFA (Batten Disease Family Association) because a close friend of mine, Jenson, sadly has been diagnosed with this disease. I have also chosen Karibuni to help children in Kenya to allow them to get in to education and get them into homes and out of the slums.
“Thank you to all my friends and family for their support.”
