Former PCSO from Milton Keynes charged with misconduct in a public place and data protection offences

A former Police Community Support Officer, based at Bletchley police station, has been charged with Misconduct in Public Office and Data Protection offences.

Michael Billingham, aged 29, of Commodore Close, Brooklands, Milton Keynes, was arrested on January 27, 2016 and charged today (11/8) by officers from the Force’s Professional Standards Department Counter Corruption Unit with three counts of Misconduct in Public Office and two counts under Section 55 of the Data Protection Act 1988.

The charges are in connection with alleged incidents of misuse of the Force’s computer systems to research three domestic violence victims.

Billingham was bailed to appear at Basingstoke Magistrates’ Court on September 8.

Billingham was a PCSO employed by Thames Valley Police from 2007 and based at Bletchley Police Station.

He resigned from the Force on June 23, 201
