Frosts at Woburn Sands is looking for the best looking spud around with their children’s Potato Head Modelling competition.

Between February 27 and March 2, Frosts wants you to jazz up the humble spud in Mr. Potato head style and enter him into the competition which will be judged by the public over the centres Kitchen Garden weekend.

The competition will be judged on three age categories; under 3’s; 4-7’s and 8+. The winner from each category will win a wheelbarrow full goodies and if the entry comes from a school the overall winning potato could scoop their school £200 of Frosts vouchers.

The competition is just part of Frosts Kitchen Garden Weekend which will take place over the 3rd and 4th of March. The two days will celebrate the start of a new growing year, with homage to the modest potato. Over the weekend you will be able to learn all about new and delicious varieties with 57 different potatoes to choose from, plus cookery demonstrations, themed lunch menus and tastings and much more. There will also be expert planting demonstrations and guest speakers.

Managing Director, James Frost said “This is such a fun and exciting way to celebrate the potato and we hope that the children come up with the wackiest potato heads that they can. Over the weekend there, as well as the potato activity, there will be a wide variety of exciting herbs for our customers to experiment-something for the whole family”.
