A BABY who died when she was just 26 days old has inspired a fundraising concert in her name.
Little Emily was born with the incurable genetic syndrome Trisomy 18 and her parents Katie Elmer and Ben Mainwaring bravely took her out of hospital to spend her short life with them at home. Afterwards they set up Emily’s Star, a charity to raise funds to help other terminally ill children.
The Emily’s Star fundraising concert is on Friday, June 8 at The Pitz in Woughton Centre.
Headlining band is the popular Mad Mods and Englishmen. They will be joined by reggae act The Bighead and award-winning DJ Jobi Wan, said keyboard player Steve Witcomb.
