Paralympic fencer Gabi Down is looking for sponsorship so she can compete in the IWAS Wheelchair Fencing World Cup 2012 in Hong Kong.
Despite her participation in the Paralympics not starting until next Friday, Gabi, her family and various supporters are already planning for the tournament, which takes place between December 12 and 16.
Gabi, 14, is currently ranked number one in the UK for both foil and epee, the events in which she competes, but her current sponsor is not able to pay the £2,000 cost for her to compete in Hong Kong.
The teenager was born with a condition called skeletal dysplasia which means that her bones are not properly formed.
She was born with two toes on her right leg and her parents made the decision to have it amputated when she was three-years-old.
If you would like to help or for more details on how you can do so please email Terry Sullivan at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 07756274444.
Gabi and her fencing team will be competing next Friday at the Excel Centre in London.
