WOBURNS Sands’ annual Chilli Festival took place over the Bank Holiday weekend.

The event, which ran from Saturday, August 25 to Monday, August 27, took place at Frosts Garden Centre, and included exhibitors from all over the country, live Mexican music from ‘Mariachi el Maxicano,’ live cooking domonstrations and products from all around the world.

There was also be children’s entertainment and games taking place throughout all three days from 10am to 4pm.

The free event also gave people the chance to ‘take the heat home’ with some of the world’s hottest chilli plants, including the Naga Bhut Jolokia Chilli and the Trinidad Scorpion, on display to admire and buy.
