PEOPLE are invited to watch a series of historic films at the home of the codebreakers on December 13.
As part of its Winter Lecture Series Bletchley Park will be hosting a Film Show featuring four films with titles including Ship Busters, Deck Landing, Western Approaches and Speed Up On Stirlings.
Ship Busters uses the story of a raid on a German Convoy to exemplify the action by the Royal Airforce Coastal Command against enemy shipping.
Deck Landing is an introductory film on the equipment and procedures for handling, take-off and landing on a British aircraft carrier.
Speed Up On Stirlings was made for the Ministry of Information in 1942 at the Shorts Shadow Factory near Swindon and shows how an increase in production of the Stirling Bomber was achieved.
Western Approaches, which took two years to make, depicts the life of merchant seamen and tells the story of a number of men lost in the Atlantic in a small lifeboat and of their rescue.
Only 50 tickets are available for the event and the £10 admission is not included in the season ticket price. Tickets must be booked and paid for in advance by visiting www.bletchleypark.org.uk or by calling Claire Urwin on 01908 640404.
