A GROUP of nine young girls have done their part for the Japanese relief appeal.

Bethan Partridge, 11, along with her friend Sydney and 12 others from MK Prep School in Tattenhoe, were involved in a Jog for Japan to raise money for the Tsunami and Earthquake appeals through charity Shelter Box.

They jogged one lap of Furzton Lake in the glorious sunshine on Saturday morning in a comfortable 45 minutes, cheered on by parents, grandparents and friends.
