Christmas cheer had a festive glow when St Marks Church teacmed with the Love:MK Volunteering Collective to raise almost £1,400 for local charities

The Glow Ball event saw three Christmas trees lit up with glow sticks, which guests bought and attached in exchange for a £5 donation to three charities - MK Hospital’s Leo’s Appeal, MK Community Foundation’s Surviving Winter Appeal, and MK-ACT who support victims of domestic violence.

Danielle Porteous, director of development at MK Community Foundation, said: “The money raised will really help to improve the lives of vulnerable people in Milton Keynes.

“We had a great evening supporting three amazing local charities and having fun with friends too.”
