Thames Valley Police is appealing for information after a burglary in which musical instruments were stolen from a house last week.

Overnight between 11.45pm on Tuesday (8/5) and 7.30am on Wednesday (9/5), offenders broke into a house in Colesbourne Drive, Downhead Park, and stole a left handed Yamaha electric guitar, which has double pick ups and plastic wood effect, and a left handed Crafter acoustic guitar in light and dark brown wood.

Detective Constable Sam Reynolds, from Milton Keynes police station, said: “These guitars are quite distinctive so I am appealing for anyone who knows of their whereabouts or comes into possession of them to come forward.”

Anyone with information should call the Thames Valley Police 24-hour non-emergency number 101 and ask to speak to Det Con Reynolds.

If you don’t want to speak directly to the police you can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or online at crimestoppers-uk.org.
