Harry’s Sporting Dream a treat for school

Year two pupils at Howe Park School in Emerson Valley were rewarded for hard work with a special musical performance of Harry’s Sporting Dream.

The show is great fun with musicians from the Milton Keynes City Orchestra and is being performed at twenty five city schools and community centres over two weeks.

It tells the tale of Harry, a small boy who dreams of doing the sporty things his big brothers and sisters can do. He grabs his wishing star which takes him across the world to meet animals teaching him how to jump like a kangaroo, run like a Cheetah and swing like a Monkey. Children join in through singing, actions and playing hand percussion instruments.

The grand finale of Harry’s Sporting Dream is on Saturday, featuring a big fourteen piece ensemble, under the baton of Sian Edwards, at a FOC concert 2pm-3.00pm at Shenley Brook End School Theatre. Spaces are limited, entry on a first come basis, or call 01908 558311 to reserve places.
