The MK Midnight Moo is back for 2012 and Willen Hospice is calling on the ladies of Milton Keynes to get mooving.

Midsummer Place Shopping Centre has kindly agreed to host this exclusive ladies only event again and the date for the dairy is Saturday, July 14.

Last year over 1700 ladies from across Milton Keynes and the surrounding area took part in the 10 mile midnight walk around the city. They helped to raise over £180,000, including Gift Aid, to enable the Hospice to continue its specialist care. It is now time for the herd to once again join together and register for what promises to be an even butter event this year.

This year’s event will feature fantastic entertainment to get the herd mootivated, an amazing prize draw with a fantastic grand prize and there are also other udderly great treats for the herd to get their hooves on.

Pauline Mitchelmore, MK Midnight Moo Events Organiser, said: “There is something very emootional about ladies joining together to have fun and raise funds. Many people in the local area have been touched by the support Willen Hospice offers, not just within the Hospice building but also out in the community in patients own homes. The MK Midnight Moo is a great way to support your local Hospice and to also raise much needed funds so that we can continue to provide our free, individual care to our patients and their families.”

The MK Midnight Moo is an inspirational event for all ladies - one lady who took part last year was 3 months pregnant – and it even helps you get fit! Jill Gardner, the MK Midnight Moo lead walker from Hate It, Change It! has once again put together a bespoke herd training programme which is free for all ladies who have registered for this years event.

So if you feel mootivated to get fit then sign up for the biggest girls’ night out in Milton Keynes today.

Sign up online at or come along and find out more information when Florence Moo, the MK Midnight Moo Mascot, goes ‘On Tour’. Flo starts her tour on Tuesday, February 21 at the Olney Willen Hospice Shop as part of the Pancake Day Celebrations. Pop along, bring your mini-moo’s, and have a chat with Flo – she’d be over the moon to meet you!

Even if you can’t be involved on the night, you can still support the herd by texting MOOO12 5 to 70700 to donate £5 to Willen Hospice.
