City MP Mark Lancaster has thrown his support behind an independent watchdog which monitors complaints made by patients.
Healthwatch, who launched in April, have taken the place of Link:MK and gives people the opportunity to confidentially make a complaint about the city’s health and social Care services.
Mr Lancaster, who represents the Milton Keynes North ward, visited staff on Friday to hear about the progress they have made in their first two months and what they hope to be able to accomplish.
He said, “Healthwatch is a fantastic independent consumer champion, working to help improve our local health services here in MK.”
Any patients who have problems or need to be directed to a particular service can get in touch with the Healthwatch team in Kiln Farm by calling 01908 266696 or email email@example.com.
