BBC Masterchef judge, Claire Clark recently paid a visit to Milton Keynes College’s catering department, and entertained the students with tales from her glittering career.
Claire has worked at restaurants including The Ritz and Claridges and is widely regarded as one of Britain’s top chefs, which means she knows good food when she sees it.
Claire took a tour of the catering facilities at the college, and while there took time to see newly refurbished restaurant, The Brasserie, where the students showcase their culinary skills to paying guests.
“It gives me great pleasure to be able to provide inspiration and support to such an enthusiastic and dedicated team,” she said.
2013 student of the year finalist and professional cookery student Daniel Jackson said: “Hearing Claire speaking about her career was inspiring.
“I’d like to work in top restaurants and Claire’s rich and varied experiences make me want to push myself harder to achieve my goals.”
