A father who has been estranged from his son for almost 20 years says he desperately wants to reconnect.
Mike Collins went on holiday to Jacksonville, Florida, in 1996 and never came back.
Now, the 78-year-old hopes he can track down son Paul Stephen Collins who grew up in Furzton.
Mike said: “When I was over on holiday I got offered a job - and that was the last time I saw him.
“I would love to see him again. I would even make the effort to fly back to England - or pay for him to come out here and stay with me.”
Mike now runs his own garage called London Autoworks in Florida, restoring old British cars. He lives with his Diane who he has been with for 10 years.
But after developing health problems, Mike says he would love to be able to meet his son once again.
Mike added: “I regret losing touch with him. I also have another son who I haven’t heard from, but I know he emigrated to New Zealand.
“It would be amazing if we got back in touch.
“Paul is 5ft 7in with light brown hair.”
