Paul, who works for Mercedez Benz Group, said: “While in Theatre 4 Rifles, the Regular Battalion, made use of my civilian skills and had me asssit on a number of small building and relocation projects which was an excellent use of my expertise and something I really enjoyed.”
Rifleman Andrew Ahn, 28, of Olney, has been in the TA ten years and was on his first tour. The medals were presented by Major General Sandy Storrie, Senior Army Directing Staff Officer at the Royal College of Defence Studies and the Rifles Colonel for Greater London. He welcomed the soldiers back from their six-month tour of Helmand Province and thanked them for the ‘fantastic job they had done’.
