HUNDREDS of people ran, jogged and walked 10km around Campbell Park to raise money for various city charities.

Echoing the breadth of the influence of the BAPS Charities UK, an international Charity organisation, the theme ‘Annual 10k Challenge’ gave a new topicality for the charity going forward from 2012 onwards.

BAPS Charities UK, is committed to serving globally by caring for individuals, families and communities locally.

This year’s annual event was held in conjunction with Macmillan Cancer Support, one of the country’s leading charities working to provide practical, medical and financial support for cancer sufferers. Locally, BAPS Charities is also supporting the ‘Little Lives Appeal’.

The Annual Challenge offered an opportunity for the whole family to run, jog, or walk 10 kilometres around Campbell Park last Sunday in order to raise much needed funds.

It’s still not too late to support these charities. For more details or to make a contribution, please visit
