iBalloon could net centre:mk shoppers a Christmas bonus

Visitors to thecentre:mk will have the chance to win a ride in a hot air balloon, just by downloading an iPhone app.

thecentre:mk has announced that the shopping centre’s free iPhone application, ‘iBalloon’ will now automatically enter users that capture 5 balloons into a free prize draw to win a breathtaking hot-air balloon ride in its balloon and a £500 gift card to spend, just in time for Christmas.

Last week iBalloon launched, enabling shoppers to find, capture and transform virtual balloons, visible through their screens, into exceptional offers and discounts. For non-iPhone users the offers are also available on thecentre:mk’s loyalty scheme ‘Bliss’ which can be joined through the website or Customers Services. Vouchers can then be printed from the touchscreen pods within the shopping centre malls and used the same way as iBalloon vouchers.

A selection of the offers last week included a free 50g bag of whole bean coffee, a complimentary Elemis Skin Lab analysis worth £10 and free body polish from John Lewis, 30 per cent off food at Giraffe to name a few and this week is set to have a random number of exciting offers for customers to find and download with their iPhone at random places within the shopping centre.

This week some of the offers are from household favourites the Body Shop, Warehouse, House of Fraser, The Fragrance Shop, Mothercare, Red 5 and Watch & Clock. Seek out the secret balloons around the shopping centre ready for all the family to find, transform and share in time for some serious Christmas shopping!

iBalloon is running until October 14 and all offers are available through the Bliss loyalty scheme on the website.
