IT’S a Bank Holiday weekend again, and these extra breaks from the routine need to be marked in a suitable manner – and with Monday off work, how about Sunday night on the town?
Sounds good, right?
And your musical taste-buds will be salivating when we tell you that the Electrocution brand are behind the bash being housed at the Revolution Vodka Bar.
The night is being billed as The Ibiza Rocks Takeover, and with good reason – seeing as how Ibiza Rocks resident DJ Nicola Bear is taking the headline slot.
Live drum n bass and dubstep will be on the cards courtesy of MKs own Magrex, who have been doing the business at dates in and around the area – Bedford and Northampton are already loving the Magrex style.
Also hot-footing it back to Revs are former Electrocution residents DJ 7oel and After School Club DJs.
While all that lot keeps things moving on the upside, the lower level will be a big mash up of funk, 80s, disco and more mainstream offerings.
The dance floor will be teasing you all the way through to 3am, so you’ll no doubt need a little lubrication to keep you working: and lots of cocktails and beer offers will run, along with those ever-so-tasty Jaegerbombs at £2 a hit.
Drink. Be merry.
Nicola won’t be delivering the deck-side action at many more UK dates – she is soon making tracks back to the white isle for the summer season, where she has soaked up the sun and pushed out the tunes for the past four years.
She will be supporting the likes of Ed Sheeran, Professor Green, Noel Gallagher, Mark Ronson, New Order and loads more, in the coming months. Catch her while you can.
Doors at 9.30pm, admission, £3.
