Children from the Redway School, in Netherfield, enjoyed a visit to IKEA, where they helped choose cooking equipment for the school’s after-school club, thanks to the Lions Club of Bletchley.

Store manager John Ollie welcomed the group and made sure they had an enjoyable visit.

Bletchley Lions purchased the cooking equipment for the school, at a cost of £273, and IKEA put on free drinks and cake for the schoolchildren in the restaurant. The store also donated two large hampers of Swedish food and drinks to the school.

The Lions Club of Bletchley also donated three boxes of new Lego, worth £75, to the children for the after-school club.

Bletchley Lions are happy to collect any new or used Lego and deliver it to the Redway School, which offers specialist facilities for children wih a wide range of learning difficulties.
