A BUSINESSMAN from Newport Pagnell has helped make history as one of the volunteers for the London 2012 Olympic Games.

Stephen Isherwood, pictured left, volunteered in 2010 to be a Games Maker and completed 12 shifts as a Games driver, based in Park Lane, ferrying IOC officials and athletes from their hotels to their sporting venues.

Stephen, MD of Invest In Your Career Ltd, said: “I really wanted to get involved in some capacity as it will be so many years before the opportunity for anyone here to get involved in hosting the Games will come up again.”
