Interdirect’s Mo Bros aiming big in Movember

This November, men at a city company will be putting down their razors and getting out their fine toothed combs as they take part in Movember.

The team from Interdirect will begin the month with clean shaven faces and transform into “Mo Bros”; walking and talking advertisements raising awareness for men’s health, by growing and grooming a moustache for the month of November.

Since it began in Melbourne, Australia, in 2003 Movember has become a global movement, inspiring over 1.9 million Mo Bros to participate worldwide. The need to raise awareness and educate men about the health risks they face is obvious; a shocking one out of six men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in their lifetime.

Movember is a month-long moustache growing campaign to raise awareness and funds for men’s health charities, Prostate Cancer UK and The Institute of Cancer Research.

In 2011, a staggering £79.3 million was raised and this year Interdirect’s Movember volunteers are looking forward to joining the movement and growing moustaches of their own.
