A white collar boxing show which started life in Aylesbury is moving to Milton Keynes – with a format which will find out which town has the toughest fighters.

Train Like a Pro has signed an exclusive deal with MK Arena to take their white collar boxing extravaganza to the stadium next April, with a proposed Battle of Bucks (Aylesbury v Milton Keynes) format rumoured.

The event sees members of the public box one another in the ring after undergoing a rigorous training schedule.

In November panto favourite Andy Collins, from Aylesbury, even took to the ring at Stoke Mandeville Stadium, watched by celebrities Vernon Kay, Joe Pasquale and Phil Tufnell.

Paul Saw, business manager at Train Like a Pro, said: “We are extremely proud and excited not just for us but as a town by this deal and we thank both the people of Aylesbury and MK Arena for all the support.

“This will potentially be the biggest white collar boxing show in the country and we are very excited about the prospect of working closely with MK Arena to put on an amazing night for all that take part.”

Train Like a Pro’s next show at Stoke Mandeville Stadium is on August 21 and includes live music and cash prize competitions.,
