It's going to be a blooming great weekend in Milton Keynes!

It is being billed as the '˜biggest plant extravaganza in its history' as Frosts Garden Centre prepares to display more than 10,000 plants this weekend.

This Saturday and Sunday, customers visiting the Woburn Sands garden centre will be “immersed in plants as soon as they enter the centre”, says managing director, James Frost.

“With the sunshine making a delayed appearance this year the gardening season is slightly later hence we have thousands of beautiful plants ready and waiting for our customers to enjoy.”

Frosts has slashed the prices of all of its plants for just the two days, in a bid to get the public out in the garden and making the most of the delayed British summer.

Frosts experts will be on hand throughout the weekend to offer advice and tips.

The event is free and ample free parking is available.

Doors open from 9am Saturday and 10.30am Sunday.
