One of the driving forces behind a tourism organisation has retired.

Destination Milton Keynes’ (DMK) former general manager Jackie Inskipp was thanked for her hard work by a host of the great and good of the new city.

Jackie has been at the helm of DMK since 2006 but was also instrumental in the creation of the organisation, too.

Jackie has worked on major projects over the past seven years including the creation of the first Destination Guide for Milton Keynes, the England World Cup bid, the MK Summer of Culture 2012 and produced the MK Leisure promotional video.

Dr Ann Limb, chair of Destination Milton Keynes said at the event, at Milton Keynes College: “Jackie has been instrumental in providing Milton Keynes with a sustainable tourism organisation which continues to go from strength to strength. We hope she’s now able to relax and enjoy her retirement.”
