A teenager who carried the paralympic torch has called it one of the best days of his life.
Jake Leonard, 16, carried the flame just over 100 metres in London on Wednesday as part of the Milton Keynes Sailability team of five who covered around half a mile.
He said: “It was a day I will remember for the rest of my life. Despite it being early in the morning there were a lot of people out and when we travelled back to the point where we started people were stopping me and asking for photos. I was very humbled.”
Jake was joined on the day by his grandmother and his dad, who joined thousands of supporters lining the streets.
