Wolverton Town Band has appointed a new musical director.
Speaking after taking over the role, classical music recording producer and engineer, Jeffery Ginn, said he sees his experience in the recording industry as vital to his approach to band training.
Mr Ginn‘s role will involve developing the band ahead of its playing commitments, including Wolverton’s twinning weekend on June 1 and 2 when representatives from Ploegsteert in Belgium will visit the town.
He said: “I’m delighted to accept the invitation to be Wolverton Town Band’s new musical director. I’m looking forward to having fun, making fine music and helping build the band for the future.”
