SPRING continues to splash its way forward this term at Sherington School.
The current “drought” didn’t stop the heavens opening for Sherington School’s Mayday dancing.
Still, a little damp weather was not enough to dampen the good spirits of all who took part.
Meanwhile, the pupils at Sherington have just bid a fond farewell to eleven recently hatched chicks that arrived as eggs.
These fluffy birds have now found a new home at the nearby Old Rectory - although pupils are sure to be kept up to date with their progress.
Springtime vegetables will soon be adorning the youngsters’ plates as the vegetable plots flourish, while baking for the new Café Church is keeping the Year 1 children busy.
Youngsters at the school are now looking forward to keeping their bodies healthy and honing a healthy attitude towards exercise with the help of springtime yoga classes.
These sessions will improve their focus and physical movment and control.
