A children’s charity is launching its latest Saturday morning running event at Willen Lake North Park.
The popular event run by Kids Run Free will run on the second and fourth Saturdays of every month at 9am and are accessible to children of all abilities.
There will be individual races for each age category with distances ranging from 50m to over 1km and there are free gifts to collect with every 16 events attended.
Whether your child is a budding Olympic athlete or is just finding their running legs, there’s something to suit.
The Kids Run Free mission is to create fun, sustainable running opportunities for 0-16 year olds, igniting their passion for sport and physical activity and allowing them to become healthier, happier, more confident children.
It’s completely free to take part you just need to register your children at www.kidsrunfree.co.uk before you attend. The Milton Keynes launch will be the twenty fifth event for this growing charity based in Royal Leamington Spa and is being supported by funding from MK Community Foundation. The Mayor,
Councillor Keith McLean and Mark Lancaster MP have been invited to attend the event.
Come along to the newest Kids Run Free event at Willen Lake North Park, V10 Brickhill Street, Milton Keynes, MK15 0DS on Saturday 17th October. Races start at 9.00am but please arrive at 8.45am for warm up and registration.
