The Kings of Leon are set to play MK Bowl on June 22, next summer, as part of a 17-date tour.
The announcement was made following the release of their latest No1 album ‘Mechanical Bull’. Special guests are to be confirmed.
This year the band completed a six-date arena tour of the UK playing shows in pairs across London, Manchester and Birmingham. After headlining V Festival in August, next summer will see the open air return of Kings of Leon on British soil.
Kings of Leon formed in Nashville in 1999. The band’s line-up consists of three brothers – lead singer and rhythm guitarist Anthony Followill, drummer and percussionist Ivan Followill, and bassist Michael Followill with their cousin Cameron Followill on lead guitar.
Tickets will go on sale at 9am on Friday, December 13, available from either www.livenation.co.uk or www.ticketmaster.co.uk.
