Knife-weilding robbers threaten shop staff

Men armed with knives broke into a shop to steal money from the till.

The owner of the Premier Store in Blackmoor Gate, Furzton, was grabbed and threatened with a knife, while his accomplice waved the weapon towards the shop assistant.

Once they were given cash they ran off at around 7.50pm on Tuesday.

The first offender was wearing a royal blue hooded top with an adidas logo on it. He was also wearing black tracksuit bottoms and black trainers.

The second offender was wearing grey tracksuit shorts that come just below the knee, blue trainers, a bomber jacket with the hood up and with a dark grey or royal blue or black stripe along top and shoulder with royal blue hood.

One of the shop staff, sustained a scratch to his neck. He did not require hospital treatment.

Det Sgt Jason Simpson would like to speak to anyone with information on the incident, or who may know the identity of the offenders.
