Bletchley Ladies rugby team have posed naked for a new calendar to raise money for international development charity Progressio.

Ladies player Alanna Walsh persuaded her teammates to bare all for the calendar. She is set to volunteer as a team leader on the government funded International Citizen Service programme.

Progressio in Nicaragua work to help people in developing countries gain power over their lives and overcome barriers that keep them poor. The calendar will be used as a fundraiser to support her.

Alanna said: “The demand for the calendars has been astonishing – it is fantastic not only for those who will benefit from Progressio’s support but also for women’s rugby.

“As the calendar demonstrates it is a sport for every shape and size.

“None of this could have happened without Prontaprint Milton Keynes and Sheppard Photography - so a huge thank you for their superb support.”
