Family entertainment, stalls, dancers, Mummers, musicians, Bernese Carter Dogs, Emmet’s fairground and hot festive food will add flair to the affair.

Cries of oyez-oyez will ring out around the High Street, as Town Crier Malcolm Jones spreads the good news and MK Amateur Operatic Society panto characters will be out and about, and giving a mini-performance of The Little Mermaid & the Pirates over in the market Square.

Santa will take time out from packing his sleigh to attend the bash – catch him in his grotto from 10am.

A Children’s Lantern Procession will leave York House at 4.15pm and the all important switch will be flicked by Golden Sea Chinese Takeaway fella Sam, at 5pm prompt.

>BLETCHLEY town illuminates on Saturday too, with activities throughout the day, and the big light up at 4.30pm.
