Bletchley Lions Brian and Joan Phillips hands over two new nebuliser machines to Willen Hospice

Bletchley Lions and the Asthma Relief Charity have proudly presented two brand new nebuliser machines to the Willen Hospice, Hospice at Home team.

The Hospice at Home team offers practical support and nursing skills to patients at home.

The team work with other healthcare professionals to control patients’ symptoms and help families.

The £320 cost of the nebulisers was raised by the Lions Club of Bletchley, and the nebusers were presented to Hospice at Home deputy sister Sherri Hobbs by Lions president Brian Phillips and his wife Joan.

Sherri said: “We are very grateful to have received this generous donation and would like to thank the Lions Club and the Asthma Relief Charity.

“The nebuliser will make a big difference to the many patients we visit.”

The average recyclable lifespan of a nebuliser machine is six years, so the arrangment is an ongoing commitment for the Asthma Relief Charity.
