Birth coin and RAF brooch stolen during burglary

Sentimental items have been stolen from a house in Olney after a burglary.

Jewellery, including a birth coin engraved with “24.11.82 Matthew, an RAF Second World War brooch and a christening bracelet were all stolen in the incident in Paxton Close.

Between 8.45am and 7.40pm on Tuesday thieves got into the house through back doors before stealing the items.

Detective Constable Samantha Reynolds, said: “The jewellery held a lot of sentimental value to the victim and many items are identifiable. Please come forward if you have any information.”
