Boy living with brain tumour is ‘half way towards a miracle’

Waiting for Video...

A five-year-old boy living with an inoperable brain tumour which could kill him at any moment is one step closer to his ‘miracle trip’.

A family fun day at the Bottom Club in Wolverton on Saturday raised £540, bringing the total up to over half what Harvey Hawkins and his mum Anita need to travel to Lourdes.

Harvey, who can’t be cured until his brain swells enough for surgeons to reach and remove the lump, is hoping to fly out on August 22 after Citizen readers generously donated to help him get there.

Another fun day will be held on August 2 at the same venue from 12pm.
