Milton Keynes’ very own Bailey McConnell and star of Britain’s Got Talent is visiting Midsummer Place today.
The 15-year-old singer-songwriter from Crownhill, pictured, who is waiting to find out if he’s through to the live semi-final stage of the ITV’s talent show, will visit Midsummer Place for a meet and greet between 12pm to 2pm, to give fans a chance to see him in person.
Bailey, who used to be a delivery boy for MK Citizen, said: “It’s great to have the support of Midsummer Place; I love loads of the shops in the centre and they helped me get some new clothes for my big audition.
“Performing on Britain’s Got Talent was really exciting; I just hope I get through to the next round!
“I can’t wait to meet fans on Saturday; they’ve shown me so much support, especially on social media.”
To show support for Bailey in the competition, Midsummer Place is giving away limited edition #TeamBailey wristbands to fans that attend.
Martin Hindson, general manager, said: “We’re very proud of the local talent that Milton Keynes has and Bailey is a shining example of this.
“We wish him lots of luck in Britain’s Got Talent and we can’t wait to see what the future has in store for him!”
